Safe, cushioned and comfortable

We placed three Flyknit components in different areas of the shoe. The seamless structure on the tongue created soft padding and a better fit. The upper is soft, with a very secure fit. And lastly, the heel is constructed with a clip for containment and cushioning. As a result, the upper keeps your foot comfortable and stable as it hits the pavement.

Higher, smoother, wider

The higher foam provides an even softer feel. A wide, exaggerated shape in the forefoot offers a more stable stride.

More momentum with every step

Nike ZoomX foam is agile and lightweight, providing responsiveness with every step. Shaped like a rocker, the foam offers support for the three phases of a runner's stride. It offers flexibility when lifting the foot off the ground, a smooth stride when moving the foot forward and cushioning when in contact with the ground.

Traction built on data

We used data from runners to create a Waffle outsole that gives you traction where you need it most. This data also helped guide the design and look of the shoe's sidewalls.
